How Pricey makes money
Also our affiliate disclosure. Last updated: August 2, 2026
Pricey has one job: telling you what a product really costs, so you never overpay. For that to be worth trusting, you should know exactly how we get paid.
Affiliate commissions
When you tap a price in Pricey, you're taken to the retailer's own website or app. Some of those links are affiliate links. If you end up buying something, the retailer pays us a small commission.
- It never costs you anything. The price you pay is identical either way.
- It never changes which prices we show or how we rank them. Ranking is by total price — lowest first. Commissions have no influence on the order. This rule is enforced in our code.
- We participate in affiliate programs including the Amazon Associates Program, the Walmart Affiliate Program, and the eBay Partner Network.
As an Amazon Associate, Pricey earns from qualifying purchases.
Pricey+ (optional)
Everything you need to save money is free: unlimited scans, full price comparison, tracking, and alerts. Pricey+ is an optional subscription for extra polish — things like unlimited watchlist items and richer price-history charts — for people who want to support the app.
What we never do
- No ads, ever.
- No selling or sharing your personal data, ever.
- No sponsored placements, boosted rankings, or "featured" retailers.
